Recycling Can Feel Complicated

So Let’s Keep It Simple

Thin Plastics Take Years to Break Down

Instead of Waiting for that to Happen, Try These Ideas!

DONATE YOUR PLASTIC BAGS

An easy change to daily routines can make an impact. Instead of leaving your plastic bags crinkled up (not knowing what to do with them), lay them flat along their natural folds and take them to a Plasticity Partner location and we’ll do the rest.

BE PART OF THE PLARNING PROCESS

Help us create reusable bags and keep hundreds of bags out of landfills and oceans.

No Experience Necessary! You can help at any stage of the process regardless of your ability level. We need people to pick up bags, fold, cut, wind, crochet, and stitch the lining.

Do you have other skills and want to get involved? Use our Contact Us and reach out!

MAKE A DONATION AND GET A GIFT

Help educate the community and reuse plastic bags in a sustainable way.

We’re a nonprofit so ALL DONATIONS fund our grass roots effort to bring awareness about thin plastics and how to make small changes with big impact!

OTHER THIN PLASTICS

ECOBRICKS

Start making Ecobricks with thin plastics. Ecobricking is stuffing plastic bottles tightly with thin plastics like food bags, packing plastic or plastic wrap. The World makes Ecobricks and there’s a whole community, lots of education and information about Ecobricking below. The plarning process does require a small amount of the bag to be cut off. We use Ecobricking to make sure that even our waste is responsibly recycled!
